Why Jarfly?

Welcome to The Brewery

One of Pulaski County’s early entrepreneurs, Abe Goldenberg, launched his family furniture business at our location back in 1904. Today, Jarfly Brewing Company is proud to reopen the doors of this historic downtown retail hub and begin a new tradition devoted to a traditional craft — brewing local beer. Craft beer is made with the union of traditional ingredients like malted barley, hops, water and yeast. At Jarfly Brewing we’re expanding these traditions and fermenting distinctive flavors that satisfy the thirsts of our customers while challenging their ideas of how good a beer can be. We invite you to join us in downtown Somerset at 103 West Mt. Vernon Street.

Our Flagship Beers

goldenberg golden ale 73px

Quickly becoming one of our most requested Flagships, this brew was crafted in recognition of our brewery's location in the historic Goldenberg Furniture building in downtown Somerset, Ky. A delicious golden ale with hints of honey and rye with a crisp finish.

kentucky common ale 71px

Kentucky Common Ale was a popular style of beer in and around Pulaski County, Kentucky from the 1850s until Prohibition. While rarely brewed commercially now, we have revived this amber colored, easy sipping ale to satisfy today's popular beer drinking preferences.

beer nice day ipa 71px

Our Nice Day IPA starts off moderately hoppy and quickly rounds out with a big, citrusy, floral finish. Have a good one!

beer baxters coffee stout 71px

Our stout is brewed with an infusion of locally roasted Baxter’s Coffee and a hint of vanilla. It is pitch black in color and has a super smooth, creamy taste.
